Mini Dorayaki with Nutella (15 minutes)

Ingredients (15 servings):

  • 90 g room temperature water
  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 75 g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5 g baking powder for desserts
  • 10 g wildflower honey
  • Sufficient peanut oil
  • 90 g Nutella (15 g per serving) for filling

In a bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, and baking powder for desserts. Add the whole egg, honey, and water, then mix the batter until it’s smooth and free of any lumps.

Grease a frying pan with peanut oil and heat it up. Once it’s hot, pour one tablespoon of batter at a time and cook them over medium-low heat.

When you notice bubbles forming on the surface and a beautiful golden color on the bottom, flip the dorayaki and continue cooking on the other side. Once they’re cooked, transfer them to a bowl.

And now, the fun part… the filling! Use a piping bag without a tip to fill a dorayaki with Nutella, then sandwich it with another dorayaki on top. Voilà! Your brunch is ready to be served!
